Wov, what a busy days I’ve been suffering (marks, festivals…) O:) Anyway, I’m back.
When I started teaching a “foreign” language to my students, first resource I used were flashcards (mixing them a bit with the “intelligent bits” concept), and I selected a few ones like the following ones:
Those flashcards are available both in .pdf and .jpg format, so you can either print them or use by the IWB to play games with your students while learning vocabulary. By the way, the url to get them (for free) is ESL Flashcards website

Hey Jesus! We also use the Intelligent bits programme in my school! I think it’s a great way for the kids to learn. Since last September, a few teachers and myself have created powerpoint presentations with images and word using the bits programme to allow the students to see bits on the digital board that the school acquired this year. It is visually more interesting as its bigger and we can also use music or videos. Kids love it! There are a lot available on slideshare.com. Have a look at this one!

Hi Jesus and Marie!
I have no experience at all in teaching, .
There are so many tools to use that I do not really know which ones are more appropiate for children.
I think that your ideas are very interesting, useful and motivating for children’s learning.
I think that “wordle” is an interesting tool to use. As experienced teachers, do you know if it is useful?

Thank you for the webpage, there are a lot of useful flashcards to use in our class if we need. And they appearance is funny so I think the children will remember them easily.
